Michigan’s 7th Congressional District is the most competitive seat in the nation. The mid-Michigan district is anchored by the capital city of Lansing, features Big 10 powerhouse Michigan State University, and has a large General Motors footprint.

The district includes the entirety of Clinton, Shiawassee, Ingham, and Livingston counties, most of Eaton County, and slices of Oakland and Genesee counties. In addition to Lansing, the cities of Charlotte, East Lansing, Howell, Mason, Owosso, St. Johns, and South Lyon are also located in the Seventh.
